From the Archives: Cupcake edition

That time I met the cupcake queen. (If you love cupcakes, you've had a Gigi's cupcake, so you know why she's the queen!)

This was a fun photo session with Gina Butler, the founder of Gigi's Cupcakes. I photographed her way back when, in her original location on Broadway in Nashville. In the years since the local and national cupcake game has flourished. After building up her business and opening more than a dozen locations across the U.S. she sold Gigi's in 2016. Since then Gina opened another original eatery in Franklin, TN. Gigi's Kitchen, cafe and bakery is currently thriving and selling and serving sweet treats and pies as well as unique southern fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
